ABOUT
MANOUCHE
MASTERS OF GYPSY JAZZ
Expertly embodying the true spirit of gypsy jazz, the spellbinding Manouche are unrivalled masters of the genre. With infectious energy, virtuosity and joy, their toe-tapping setlist brings the core repertoire of gypsy guitar legend Django Reinhardt together with the band’s own rousing arrangements of traditional swing greats to create a performance that is hard to find ... and impossible to forget.
Since their formation in 2005, Manouche have become regulars at the best-known venues and festivals across the UK, often popping up at Ronnie Scott’s, King’s Place and Barbican Hall; Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Boomtown & The Mostly Jazz Festival. They enjoy many residencies at famous jazz and private clubs in London, including The 606 Club, Green Note, Annabel’s, and Soho House.
Manouche have performed for glamorous private parties all over the world, from Hong Kong to Moscow, Monaco, Stockholm, Berlin, Venice and beyond, and countless beautiful parties on their home turf in the UK. Recent engagements include private performances for UK royalty, Jools Holland, Sting, Guy Ritchie, KT Tunstall and Rory Bremner, to name a few.
The band are regular guest performers on various BBC Radio shows including a recent performance and interview on Radio 3’s “In Tune”, and Manouche’s original EP, Fall In Love With Swing, reached No. 3 in the Bandcamp charts.
